What inspires my artwork, you ask?!

Here are some of the things that influence my work: X-Men comics, Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt,All things fashion, Asian architecture, mythology, imagery from my dreams (i keep a journal of the things i dream about), all things tribal and nomadic ;)

My vision board

this is my vision board, on it are things that inspire me and motivate me to keep moving towards my goals of working in art direction for film and print media in the fashion industry..and if that wasn't enough to move forwards in showing and having gallery shows of my personal artwork ;) (*please note i do not own nor claim to own any of the images in my visual board)

My personal style icon

This is my grandmother who is and always will be one of my personal style icons. Her sense of calming beauty and simplistic glamor reverberate through every part of my fashion life and well my life for that matter. She's the one who sparked my love of fashion and fashion illustration. I'm so proud that there is so much of her inside of me ;)

Red vs Nude

I tried out some berry/red lips today but I think I like the nude better. This particular red came as a gloss and it was too sticky, I think I'm going to try a matte pigment next time...what do you guys think, like the red?...

Princess Tiana

I'm so excited about the release of Disney's The Princess and The Frog! Disney's 2D animation is one of the reasons I became an animator and why I love 2D animation. I will be in the theater with my sketchbook taking notes ;D

Soldier of Love

One of my dear friends just posted Sade's new single "Soldier of Love" on her facebook page and I had to share it because I'm so excited for this album to come out. Its been 9 years since her last album and the wait was truly worth it! Soldier of Love is slated to drop February 8, 2010....I'm countin' down the days :)

Barnes and Noble's Nook, its a touch screen ebook reader. I believe there's already a waiting list for them so I may have to hold off for a little bit before I get it but its definitely the perfect gift for your favorite book-lover.

Anne Leibovitz's series for the Disney Dream Campaign is absolutely gorgeous! I literally giggled at the sight of these and thought you guys would get a kick out of them, maybe not as much as me but a kick is a kick nonetheless.
