Release Me

Hey guys so here's the teaser for "Release Me" it should be done by the end of the week, i'm still debating as to whether i want to render it in full color like "middle passage" or if I want to keep it in black and white with shades of grey and maybe some accent color like pink..anywho, at least working digitally allows me to try all of those possibilities so I'll keep you updated!

Weekend Project: Setting up the Studio

here are some of my books that I use for inspiration and to keep me up on my figure studies, getting books and going to the art section at Barnes and Noble are two of my favorite things to do.

The Left side of my studio, got some sculpty and lightbox, tons of pencils, my wacom tablet..its organized chaos :) I think i'm going to repaint my mannequin torso.

I've been wanting to read this book for months now so I can't wait to get started on it. Paulo Coelho is an amazing auther, I need to get all of his books.

Love Letters of Great Men
I chose this book because a lot of my work focuses on love and what better way to find inspiration than from the greats of literature ;)

"Middle Passage"

This was the first illustration of the series, I still haven't decided if I want to do the others in full color or keep them in black and white with splashes of an accent color..I'll keep plugging away at them and keep everyone posted, I'll also be uploading some sketch book work soon so stay tuned :}

Lock and Key

"Lock and Key"


I created "Lock and Key" as apart of a series of illustrations that I'm working on as a line of prints and graphic t-shirts. Everything I do is a reflection of some of my personal experiences and dealing with Life, Love, Loss, and Relationships and how these themes reoccur in my dreams. As the series progresses the illustrations will become more and more personal and display more symbolic icons from my personal life. Hope you guys enjoy!
